Bris Avrohom held an evening commemorating the yahrzeit of Rebbetzin Chana, mother of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. The event featured a kumzitz with music by Shaindel Antelis as well as a presentation on the importance of using essential oils given by Chaya Cohen.

The event was hosted and sponsored by Rebbetzin Shterney Kanelsky in memory of the 14th yahrzeit of her beloved mother, Rebbetzin Chaya Esther Zaltzman, z”l, who was tragically killed on the eve of Yom Kippur. Rebbetzin Kanelsky shared stories about Rebbetzin Chana as well as stories about her mother and how she kept mitzvot underground during the Soviet regime in Russia.

Over 40 women from the community gathered together, sang and danced as they opened the evening with the song “Hinei Ma Tov Umanaim.”
