In honor of parshat Noach, Moriah kindergarten students learned about the artist, Wassily Kandinsky. Kandinsky was inspired by music and the colors of the rainbow. He would often mix his own paint colors to use in his paintings. The children had a discussion about primary and secondary colors and then had the opportunity to paint like Kandinsky artists. The children used primary and secondary colors (which they mixed on our own!) to create their own masterpiece. Each child dipped circular objects in paint then stamped them on paper to create their own Kandinsky inspired Concentric Circles.
