This week’s spotlight game takes us back to Ma’ayanot High School, where the Center for Dermatology girls faced off against team Oil Tank Services. The Center for Dermatology controlled the jump ball and a first quarter that saw much more defense than offense. The second quarter was a draw with each team scoring 10 points as the Center for Dermatology carried their three point lead into halftime.
Oil Tank Services went on a run spurred by Galil Neuer (eight of her team high 13 points) and Kayla Schiff (scoring six points, she would finish the game with 12). However, Aliza Poloner and Aliza Baron kept the Center for Dermatology team in the game with 13 points a piece. When the final buzzer sounded it was a 35-33 victory for team Oil Tank Services.
The action continues this weekend at Ma’ayanot High School, Yavneh Academy and Yeshivat Ben Porat Yosef.
