RKYHS Students Hear About the Power of Big Data and Cultural Intelligence

RKYHS students heard from Lili Gil Valletta, the CEO of Cien+ and CuturalIntel, an expert in new uses for data analytics in the 21st century economy, as part of the weekly SEED (Student Enrichment Education and Development) speaker program. Valletta spoke to students about the skills they should acquire to be “future proof” as we move forward in this “fourth Industrial Revolution,” the different ways to gather and utilize big-data analytics, and a behind the scenes view of the power of data.

Valletta gave students tremendous insight into the importance and impact of cultural intelligence. She stressed that as our country’s demographics continue to shift and technology breaks geographic boundaries and connects humans around the world, we all have an opportunity to lead, innovate and differentiate activating our own power of cultural intelligence. Her universal message about the relevancy of individuals and their distinct experiences, cultures and contributions resonated with all in attendance.
