Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls held their annual school-wide shabbaton at the Crowne Plaza in Stamford, on October 18-20. The weekend was filled with singing and dancing, round-the-clock Divrei Torah and shiurim by faculty, community leaders, students and alumnae, entertainment by mentalist Ted St. James, a fun bonding trip to Chelsea Piers, an inspiring sunrise tefillah on the beach, and a ruach-filled Shabbat, Havdalah and melave malka. As Sarah Gordon, director of student activities and experiential education, said, “The girls enjoyed being able to spend time with their teachers outside of the classroom and the ruach and achdut sparked by the shabbaton will continue to be felt throughout the school year.”
