American Friends of The Hebrew University (AFHU) recently honored Lucille and Daniel (z”l) Amster of Bergen County, NJ as Benefactors of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.  The ceremony took place on the university’s Mount Scopus campus earlier this summer during the Hebrew University’s 76th International Board of Governors meeting and annual convocation.

Lucille is a member of the Board of the Jewish Home in Rockleigh and is a long standing member of the UJA of Northern New Jersey.  She and her late husband have an impressive history of community involvement and philanthropy in Bergen County and Northern NJ and are truly a credit to the community.
