MTA Seniors Lead Yeshiva Fellowship Chaburahs

On Monday, October 22, seniors in MTA’s Yeshiva Fellowship program kicked off a newly instituted chabura initiative. Seniors were split into three groups with a talmid serving as rosh chaburah of each group. Every Monday, a different talmid from the group will prepare a 10 minute chaburah for their group, which will be followed by a special breakfast. The new chaburahs are an amazing and unique opportunity for talmidim to step into leadership roles and to grow as bnei Torah.

MTA’s Yeshiva Fellowship program is an exciting initiative that provides talmidim with additional opportunities to grow in Torah and to develop both communally and individually. Talmidim benefit from the personal guidance of a dedicated mashgiach for each cohort and also participate in special trips, programs, shabbatons and melave malkas. With the participation of Rav Hershel Schachter, distinguished posek and RIETS rosh yeshiva/rosh kollel, and Rav Mayer Twersky, esteemed RIETS rosh yeshiva and head of the Yeshiva University Masmidim Honors Program, Yeshiva Fellowship talmidim take full advantage of being part of RIETS, which includes following a special halacha curriculum, hearing chaburos from other RIETS roshei yeshiva and a weekly night seder.
