As TABC put the finishing touches on its brand new STEM Makerspace and Fabrication Lab, as well as a redesigned and expanded Storm Cafe, students are excitedly preparing to give these spaces their personal touch. Last week, Aryeh Tiefenbrunn’s ninth grade engineering students had a special shiur on hilchot mezuzah from Rabbi Howard Jachter, during which they learned the “top 10” halachot every Jew should know about mezuzah. This prepared them to use their skills in 3D design that they learned earlier this year, as they now work to create 3D-printed mezuzah cases for the doors in the school’s new spaces. They are so excited to define these spaces from day one by both Torah values and STEM innovation!
