After discussing the Lenape tribe and the Wampanoag tribe, the preschoolers at the Iris Berman Early Childhood Center looked at some patterns the native tribes used and also some pictograph symbols. The children created a lovely plate as a gift to be used for their Thanksgiving tables. The children decorated the border of their plates with these designs and symbols.
