To celebrate the end of the semester, Ma’ayanot faculty and students attended a private screening of the film “On the Basis of Sex” at the Teaneck Cinemas on Tuesday. The film explores the challenges of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as a young attorney and new mother fighting for equal rights. The groundbreaking case that Ginsburg takes on with her husband Marty ultimately changes the course of her career and the future of gender discrimination in the courts. The inspirational film was followed by a lively discussion among students and faculty.
