Yavneh Academy second grade students transformed their classroom into a science lab. They worked together to conduct experiments, as they learned about light. The students observed the refraction and reflection of light, and were so excited to make their own kaleidoscopes and rainbows. Everyone observed and concluded that oxygen is needed for flames to burn. The students enthusiastically participated in these hands-on experiments, as they used the scientific method to record their hypotheses, materials, procedures, observations and conclusions.
