J-ADD will host a workshop addressing Lifespan Advocacy Issues for Children and Adults With Special Needs on Tuesday, February 12, 7:00-8:30 p.m. with guest speaker Maria Fischer, Esq.

In this workshop, the presenter will use a lifespan approach to frame the discussion about service needs, rights to services, access to services and entitlements. Beginning with diagnosis and early intervention, through special education services, and into adult services, the presenter will describe the laws that protect people with special needs.
