Parshat Shemot begins the story of yetziat mitzrayim, with all its miracles and lessons about Hashem’s care for His people. To celebrate their completion of this parsha, the fifth grade girls transformed their classroom to reflect the ideas they’d learned. The girls created life-sized representations of different scenes from the parsha, such as the burning bush and the Jewish population explosion, and dressed up in period costumes. They also prepared thematic foods, parsha-based games and Divrei Torah, to round out this fun and meaningful siyum.
