This week Netivot Montessori students learned the sofit (final) letters of the Hebrew alphabet, using color-coded letters to help them recognize the different parts of the word. Students also played Hebrew Bingo in order to help build their hebrew vocabulary and had phone conversations in Hebrew to practice their speaking skills. Practical life skills are a cornerstone of Montessori philosophy.
