The Moriah early childhood mothers got together last week to combine a night of mingling with chesed. In collaboration with the organization 24/7 Chesed, over 30 mothers brought fruit and vegetables to the Moriah auditorium and made hundreds of cut up fruit and vegetable cups to be delivered to all of the kosher pantries in the tri-state area hospitals. Esther Levy, a 24/7 Chesed volunteer came to speak about the amazing work that the organization is doing in over fifteen hospitals in our surrounding area. This Moms Night Out event allowed for the opportunity to give back to the community while serving as a forum for parents to meet for the first time and spend time with those they already know!
