This week The Moriah School pre-k students learned about health. They had many special visitors who taught them all about how to stay healthy. The children had a number of doctor parents and grandparents who taught them what doctors do. They enjoyed using stethoscopes, taking their blood pressure and looking in their ears and mouths. One mom brought in special powder that only comes off hands when washed properly with soap and warm water. Another mom came and showed the children how germs look when you see them through a microscope! Finally, they had so much fun learning about healthy eating; they even made a yummy vegetable salad with the help of a wonderful grandmother. It was a great week!
