Rosh Chodesh Adar was kicked off with color war in JKHA middle school! Sixth through eighth grade students were divided up into teams Avar (past) and Atid (future) as they competed in sports games, trivia challenges, divrei Torah competitions, tefillot and brachot contests, and more. The competition concluded with presentations of team banners, Hebrew theme song, and dance.

Aside from the competitions, the lessons of kavod, accountability and good sportsmanship were stressed throughout the entire competition. True unity was displayed where both teams Avar and Atid worked together for their banner entries linking the two themes together, displaying the message of Color War—that they are one school and working together is more important than any competition!
