The Moriah School was definitely busy this Shushan Purim!
The Moriah early childhood started their celebrations early. They enjoyed a fun filled week celebrating Purim with Drum Tales, a puppet show and a super fun Shushan Purim carnival run by the Moriah middle school!
Shushan Purim was filled with excitement and fun in Moriah’s lower school. The day began with students exclaiming excitedly as they attempted to identify their friends and teachers who were decked out in a variety of colorful and creative costumes. Throughout the day, the children were busy moving from one activity to the next, as they shared the special joy of Purim with teachers and friends. From inflatable slides to carnival arcades, moon bounces to human Guess Who games, there was palpable excitement in the air as teachers and students alike joined in the fun. Although the day was short, the positive feelings that permeated the building and the memories that were made will surely remain for a long time to come.
The middle school students competed in a costume competition and in a mysterious Escape the Room challenge! There were lively celebrations at both the Purim carnival and the chagiga. The students also had the opportunity to be helpful by assisting at the early childhood carnival. They loved all of the Purim excitement!
