JEC Lower School students participated in a unique and inspiring Yom Chesed as a part of their Adar programming. Children in grades one through five made chicken, potato kugel, challah, chicken soup and hamantaschen for families in need to enjoy as their Purim seuda. Even the Early Childhood participated, decorating bags and containers as festive packaging for these meals. Students had a great time participating in this very special mitzvah. The event was sponsored by the Czarka family in memory of Batya Emunah bat Aryeh Dov v’Bracha Chana.
