Have you ever wanted to walk on Mars or build your own lunar lander? Well, fifth grade students at RYNJ did just that at their Solar System themed STEM Night! Stations at the event included a website for Solar System computer programing, building constellations, and a virtual reality tour of the moon using Google Cardboard Glasses. Students even determined the weight of various objects on the moon, and used Ozobots to create a total solar eclipse! Everyone left with a foam moon or planet, also known as a Squishy, to remember this wonderful evening.
