The RKYHS ninth and 10th grade boys Tanach class engaged in a vigorous mock trial assessing Aharon’s degree of responsibility for the sin of the golden calf. Acting as an official courtroom, a team of jurors heard testimony from classmates cast in the role of Aharon, Miriam’s son Chur and members of the Jewish people who were witness to the sin. Playing various characters, and carefully assessing the evidence brought by the counsel on both sides, ensured a robust and fun Project Based Learning experience for all members of the shiur.
