Moriah’s kitah daled has spent these past few weeks immersed in their Haggadot. Through complementary literary units, stories, reading from the text of the Haggadah, hands on projects and preparation of a variety of divrei Torah, the students have been exploring a variety of aspects of Pesach and the Haggadah. The general theme of their Pesach unit is “Pesach Mitzrayim V’Pesach Dorot—Pesach in Egypt and Pesach throughout the generations.” By understanding what our ancestors went through in Mitzrayim, we are better prepared on the night of the Seder to “feel” like we were slaves that were just brought into freedom.
