Congregation Etz Chaim of Livingston is proud to host scholar in residence, Yael Leibowitz, May 3-4. Yael Leibowitz is an accomplished educator who has taught at the upper school of Ramaz, Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women, Drisha Institute for Jewish Education and served as resident scholar at the Jewish Center of Manhattan. She is currently teaching at Matan Women’s Institute for Torah Learning and Pardes Institute. Mizrachi, the global Religious Zionist movement, is sponsoring the scholar in residence Shabbat in celebration of Israel’s 71^st anniversary as part of its Israel360 program to send inspiring Israeli speakers and thinkers to 360 communities across the globe.
