MGBL High School action heated up this past weekend as we approach the midway point of the season. Immediately after Shabbat, Chai Lifeline overcame Chosen Healthcare 66-60 behind 22 points from Yoni Rothberg on court one. At the same time, Yoni Mann’s 20 points propelled Land Rush Title Agency Llc over Akari Therapeutics Plc 65-50 on court two. In the nightcaps, Aamatex Powerwashing outlasted Duff & Phelps 67-57 and the Jewish Link Of New Jersey topped Phil Green Cardiology 52-49. On Sunday, Joe Baron’s 22 points helped Chosen Healthcare pick up a win over i-Shine on court one, while Yoni Rothberg struck again with 28 points as Chai Lifeline beat Duff & Phelps. In the final game of the weekend, Billy Krause scored 24 points to propel The Jewish Link of New Jersey past the Globetrotters.

This weeks top scorers were Duff & Phelps’s Liam Levy with 27 points, Chai Lifeline’s Yoni Rothberg with 26 and Akari Therapeutics Plc’s Tzvi Motechin with 25 points.
