Maria Mullen, RN, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ (JFSCNJ), director of nursing, announced that a four-week training program for certified home health aides will begin on Monday, August 4. According to Ms. Mullen, “The course will put you on the path to a new career as a certified home health aide, a field that is rapidly growing and in high demand.”
The JFSCNJ Certified Home Health Aide Training Program will take place in our state-of-the-art training lab at the JFS Halpern Building, 655 Westfield Avenue in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Classes are held Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., for four weeks, with a half-hour lunch break. The JFSCNJ Certified Home Health Aide Training Course meets all of the requirement of the New Jersey Board of Nursing. The fee for the class is $75 for books and materials. Ample on-site parking is available.
The JFSCNJ Certified Home Health Aide Training Program is generously funded by The Fred C. Rummel Foundation and the 21st Century ILGWU Heritage Fund, and Jewish Family Service of Central NJ.
