Camp Shalom week seven was another week filled with excitement for all! The entire Sheini boys division bounced at Bounce U and the Rishon campers had a blast at Catch Air. The Shlishi girls went to Chocolate Works where they made (and enjoyed) messy chocolate masterpieces, and the Machane Travel boys got a break from the heat and spent the day on the ice. While the fun was in full force, the campers also spent a day reflecting on the importance of chesed and learning that it is our job to look out for one another and that our kind words, fill each other’s buckets full! In this spirit, the Shlishi girls gathered toiletries and other items, bought special treats, and made colorful cards for Pack-its, an organization which distributes care packages to the homeless. Everyone is sad the summer is coming to an end, but there’s still one more week to look forward to!
