(Courtesy of OU Yachad) On Wednesday, July 17, over 1,000 campers and staff members participated in the dedication of The Chani Rubin, z”l, Mesorah Yachad Annual 5k run. After a meaningful program, with words of chizuk from the Rubin family and Camp Mesorah’s Director Rabbi Ari and Deena Katz, the entire camp joined together to cross the finish line. It was a spectacular event and an incredible tribute to the legacy of Chani Rubin, z”l. The summer scholarship fund collected $18,000 as a result of the fundraising efforts of campers and staff! Funds go right back into Yachad summer programs and to support inclusion in camp, to give others the opportunity to gain meaningful social experiences in summer camp.
