Young Israel of Fort Lee to Host Rabbi Ron Yitzchak Eisenman

On September 16 at noon, The Young Israel of Fort Lee will host Rabbi Ron Yitzchak Eisenman of Passaic for their ever popular Lunch and a Learn. His topic, “Preparing for Elul; Feeling the Pain of Others,” is sure to provide chizuk for the upcoming Yomim Noraim.

Rabbi Eisenman was born in Brooklyn and is the son of Moshe and Lorraine Eisenman, z”l, long time members of Young Israel of Fort Lee. He spent many years learning in kollel both in Eretz Yisrael and in the States. He was appointed Rav of Congregation Ahavas Israel in Passaic, New Jersey, in 1997. He has grown the shul from its humble beginnings to a shul that hosts over 40 daily minyanim.

Rabbi Eisenman is also a professor of Jewish studies at Touro College. He writes a blog entitled the “Shul Vort” with anecdotes about the ups and downs of being a shul Rabbi.

He is also a contributor of a bi-weekly article for “Mishpacha Magazine,” and has authored three books, the latest of which is entitled “Shul With a View” (Artscroll).

All are welcome.
