As we prepare for the Yamim Noraim, the students at BPY participated in special tashlich programs taking advantage of our proximity to the Van Saun Mill Brook. The students walked through the student trails and stood by the water thinking about their year and the year to come. It was very special to be able to do tashlich at the brook which is used as an outdoor classroom throughout the year. Although they symbolically threw out their misdeeds, the students recognized the importance of water and their role in keeping the river clean.
