BPY middle school participated in a meaningful Yom Tefillah to prepare for Yom Kippur. The day began at the Sephardic Congregation of Fort Lee, Rav Acoca’s beit knesset, where there was a special tefillah and beautiful Selichot.
The students enjoyed breakfast sponsored by members of the congregation. The students were involved in two short plays to illustrate the power of tefillah. In the afternoon, the students broke up into different groups, highlighting tefillah, self-reflection, Halacha, and language. Yom Tefillah prepared the students spiritually for the days to come.
