Kaplen JCC Plans Concert To Celebrate Vladimir Zaslavsky

(Courtesy of Kaplen JCC) On Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m., the JCC Thurnauer School of Music will present “A Musical Celebration of Vladimir Zaslavsky,” who is the longtime owner of Forte Piano of Paramus. The concert will feature classical and jazz music performed by pianists Steven Masi and Dean Tomanelli, jazz violinist Vitali Imereli and other guest artists. The event will take place at the Eric Brown Theater of the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades, 411 E. Clinton Avenue.  Admission is $10 per person and $8 for JCC members.  Reception to follow. “Vladimir has been a close and generous friend of the Thurnauer School of Music for many years and a great supporter of music and young artists in the area,” said Dorothy Kaplan Roffman, founding director of the Thurnauer School of Music. “We are grateful to him and are delighted to celebrate him with this special concert.”
