The Idea School continues to enjoy a unique partnership with the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades; enabling students to connect with various groups and have opportunities to work together on larger community initiatives. This week, students worked together with the senior program at the JCC, led by Judi Nahary, to pack food through the Center for Food Action, for public school students who don’t have food over the weekends. This cross-generational team managed to pack a record number of packages in a record amount of time. All in all, this was a tremendous learning opportunity for the students while at the same doing a great chesed.
