The Bruriah Middle School basketball team will be competing in a “Hoops for Heroes” tournament to raise money that will go straight to Israeli soldiers, partnering with the organization Yashar LaChayal. Coach Rifkin shares “This tournament is another opportunity for our athletes to compete at a high level, raise awareness about Yashar LaChayal’s mission and use sports as a vehicle to perform community service. Our athletes will combine the passions we help cultivate—sports, Israel and service to others—at the tournament.”
