A group of RKYHS students participated in the Schusterman Advocacy Institute High School Summit. AIPAC brings 400 high school student leaders from across the country to Washington, D.C. for Israel advocacy and political activism training, to educate students on the U.S.-Israel relationship and to help them become effective pro-Israel political activists on and beyond their school campus. On the final day of the conference, the RKYHS students had the opportunity to turn their political activism training into action by lobbying members of Congress.

The RKYHS AIPAC student group is consistently one of the largest and most vibrant AIPAC student groups in the country. The group received the AIPAC National Early Engagement Exemplars Award at the AIPAC Policy Conference last year which recognizes the high school leaders who have done the most to advance AIPAC’s mission.
