Yeshivat Frisch senior Molly Lopkin won the Outstanding Poet Award at the 10th annual Rambam Mesivta Poetry Slam on Thursday, Nov. 14. Lopkin’s poems, titled “I’ll Sing a Psalm of Zebulon” and “Exodus 32:6, 2019,” earned her first place out of 50 competitors from eight different schools. The Frisch poetry cohort included three other talented members—Hannah Finkelshteyn, Alissa Knopf and Sophie Ostrove—and was mentored by its dedicated faculty adviser, Rabbi Neil Fleischmann.
