Ninth graders at Naaleh participated in an interactive workshop entitled “Student Strategies for Success” given by Jamie Lehrhoff, MA, LDT-C, founder and director of the Livingston Educational Center. Lehrhoff helped the girls to understand their primary learning styles—auditory, visual or tactile, and she taught them targeted strategies that they could use to enhance their learning depending on their strengths. She shared specific tools to employ for more effective study sessions, and emphasized time management, organizational skills and the importance of developing a daily plan of action.
