On Monday, December 2, representatives of a new national organization will be visiting Teaneck for a special presentation. The public is invited to come and learn about the Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV) and its growing voice in public policy and national affairs.
Distinguished rabbis from across the country created the CJV in 2017 to express a genuine Torah perspective on issues now debated nationally, including Israel, anti-Semitism, religious liberty, life, marriage, gender and more. In less than three years, it has gained the support of over 1000 rabbis and a warm welcome at the White House and in Congress.
CJV President Rabbi Pesach Lerner and Managing Director Rabbi Yaakov Menken will be visiting to explain more about their mission and successes at the home of Dr. Joseph and Chaya Schwartz, 1332 Somerset Road, for a meeting beginning at 8:00 p.m. Rabbi Steven Pruzansky, mara d’atra of Congregation Bnai Yeshurun and the CJV’s eastern regional vice president, will give introductory remarks. Come be inspired by this remarkable new organization!
