The Leonard & Syril Rubin Early Childhood Center at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is hosting two upcoming Open House events to showcase its offerings for children, ages 3 months to 5 years. Featuring a nourishing, Jewish-values based, early-childhood education, classes take place in a warm, supportive setting with experienced educators who foster curiosity, collaboration and discovery. Tot Shabbat features a rockin’ good time, where the whole family can enjoy a free, interactive, music-filled experience followed by a tour of the school. Parents can witness firsthand how the school builds a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
Bake-a-Palooza: A Family Baking Experience

This open-house option features a family baking experience that will illustrate how the early childhood department utilizes the culinary arts as a way to express oneself. Parents will also tour the school with the school director, visit classrooms and get an inside look at how the school and its teachers create life-long learners.
