Cheder Yaldei Menachem recently celebrated these four boys’ third birthdays (upsherins). As is customary from that age, a child begins wearing a kippah, tzitzit and making brachot. At the cheder children are taught how to observe the mitzvot and enjoy them; so the child will always feel an everlasting connection to God, through performing these mitzvot.
