A group of representatives from the RKYHS AIPAC student group attended the annual Our Soldiers Speak Regional Briefing in New York City entitled “In Defense of Israel—A Country. A People. A Destiny.” Our Soldiers Speak dispatches expert lecturers for presentations around the world. At the briefing, students heard from keynote speaker U.S. State Department Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism Elan Carr, among other speakers. They also had the opportunity to hear from and meet with Colonel Richard Kemp, commander of the British Forces in Afghanistan. RKYHS was the only high school group in attendance at this important event.
