RYNJ Eighth Graders Visit DC

RYNJ eighth graders participated in a two day overnight trip to our nation’s capital Washington DC. From the initial planning committees to overseeing all of the details on the trip, RYNJ students exceeded expectations. They were clearly driven by an interest and passion for leadership and growth. Their curiosity at the historical sites and museums they visited was excellent; particularly at the Capitol, the Museum of American History, MLK Memorial and the Newseum. Their enjoyment of a special dinner out demonstrated to the Washington Jewish community just how polite, personable and delightful RYNJ students are. They treated one another thoughtfully, listened carefully and followed directions while on the Capitol gallery tour, in the House chambers and at a meaningful visit to the Lincoln Memorial. RYNJ is so very proud that students not only enjoyed themselves, but created one kiddush Hashem after another throughout the two day trip.
