Varsity Cobras took to the rink to take down the North Shore Stars by a large margin. The Stars’ goalie fought hard for his team in the first period, keeping the game 1-0 before things opened up in the second and third. Kushner was too much for the Stars, moving the ball too fast and precisely for any counter to be made. All members of the first two defensive pairings; Drew Rabinowitz, Jesse Koppel, AJ Keiser and Jason Singer had a goal or more. Goaltender Nathan Orbach took the night off to play offense and tucked in his first goal as well. The Cobras were hungry to put in goals after letting their lead slip away to TABC earlier in the week. Itai Merlin secured his third win in as many starts in net. Cobras improve to 6-4 with only four more games left to go.
