This week started off with limud Torah at BPY for third through fifth graders and their parents. Parents and children were invited to parent/child learning on yom rishon led by Rabbi Zucker. Rabbi Zucker began by framing the parsha with the group. Guess what? Ben Porat Yosef is mentioned in this week’s parsha! “Ben Porat Yosef ben porat aley-ayin banot tsa’adah aley-shur.” The students were so challenged, engaged and excited to be studying Torah alongside their parent(s), classmates, Rabbi Zucker and Mrs. Maron. During this Shabbat, sixth and seventh will also enjoy a shabbaton together in Englewood and will hear “Ben Porat Yosef” mentioned during Torah reading.
