Frisch Varsity Hockey Stays Hot

SAR and Frisch hockey teams met up for round two, but this time it is Frisch who had the home advantage. The game started out as two energized teams battling for every possession and a race for the first tally on the board. Frisch ends up finding the back of the net first and after that they never looked back. Frisch came pounding out with four goals from Elliot Eisner and a pair from Jason Alter. At the end of the second period, it looked like there was no more fight from SAR and that Frisch was going to pick up the win without any fight from the visitor. SAR didn’t give up and came back firing from all spots in the third period trying to mount an incredible comeback. Although SAR had the time of possession in their favor in the third, Evan Solomon made sure that Frisch sealed the game with the W beating SAR 6-4.

A few days later, Frisch followed up with another big win at JEC. With the home team eliminated from the playoffs and the wide goal margin, Frisch had the ability to experiment with fresh faces and new lines. Frisch began to show how strong they are on the court by scoring five unanswered goals in the second period in the span of one minute. Some outstanding offensive performers of the night were Jonah Rubin who collected a hat-trick, Eisner with four goals and an impressive performance from Solomon. Frisch capitalized and won 9-0
