Tzurba D’Rabbanan is a true point of pride for TABC. Approximately 30 students from the ninth, 10th and 11th grades voluntarily learn an extra period of Gemara during their free time in the afternoon. Led by Rabbi Yoni Mandelstam, the group is now learning the sixth perek of Brachot, analyzing the proper bracha to be recited on foods such as peanut butter and applesauce. This past week, the students took a day off from their regular shiur to celebrate their accomplishments, and enjoyed some poppers and fries from Dougie’s. TABC is truly proud of those talmidim who participate in Tzurba. They have truly earned their poppers.
