Joey Rosenfeld, a practicing psychotherapist currently working as a senior counselor at the Harris House Foundation Substance Abuse Treatment Center in St. Louis and a frequent lecturer on Kabbalist philosophy, will be the scholar in residence at Congregation Rinat Yisrael during Shabbat Parshat Terumah, February 28-29. On Friday night, beginning at 8:30, he will lead a tisch, together with Teaneck native Yoni Stokar, owner, manager and drummer of the Ta Shma Orchestra. On Shabbat day, after the 9 a.m. minyan, Rosenfeld will be speaking on “The Inner World of Addiction: Spiritual Insight in a Growing Crisis.” He will also be delivering a shiur between Mincha and Maariv on “The Redemption of Doubt: Doubt as a Spiritual Ideal.”
