The 11th Annual Russian Shabbaton, “A Weekend to Remember,” took place this past Shabbos in Stamford, Connecticut, with over 1200 participants. The Bris Avrohom organization had a major part in coordinating the event with many participants. At the shabbaton the people had the opportunity to learn more about their heritage, connection to Yiddishkeit and make resolutions in regard to their future lives. The keynote speaker was Israel’s General Council to New York, the Honorable Danny Dayan, who honored one of the Bris Avrohom tables with his presence.
