(Courtesy of BergenShulsTogether) COVID-19 has hit Bergen County especially hard. The Jewish community has been hugely impacted medically, financially and socially. Members of our community have have had so many questions since the beginning of this pandemic:
Where can I get tested for COVID?
How do I keep my kids entertained?
How do I stay calm?
How do I keep strong for my family’s sake?
I’m feeling scared: Whom can I talk to?
I am quarantined: How will I get groceries and medicine?
Is there a food pantry I can donate to?
Where can I get free food for my family?
Where can I donate money or supplies?
I lost my job: How do I apply for unemployment benefits?
Where can I find a list of Torah webinars to listen to while I am home?
Which stores are open and what are their hours?
I’m feeling anxious about finances: What are my options?
The keilim mikvah is closed: What do I do about the new utensils I just bought?
I live alone: How do I connect with others safely?
The community’s needs are constantly evolving. BergenShulsTogether.com was created to be the central hub of COVID-19 resources for the Bergen Jewish community.
