The Wilf family, owners of the Minnesota Vikings, have surpassed $5 million in donations to COVID-19-related causes after a recent $1 million contribution to United Way Worldwide. Beneficiary organizations, among others, included New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, RWJBarnabas Health, Jewish Federations of North America (Greater MetroWest New Jersey, UJA New York), New York Presbyterian Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, Second Harvest and Heartland Minnesota Disaster Recovery Fund for Coronavirus

The funds have been contributed in New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, across the United States and in Israel. These donations have supported health care workers, the elderly, food banks, social service organizations and Jewish philanthropic causes.

“Our thoughts continue to be with everyone who has been impacted by this global crisis,” said Vikings owner/president Mark Wilf, a resident of Livingston, New Jersey, who also serves as chairman of the Jewish Federations of North America. “We are especially concerned for individuals who are battling the virus, those who are facing financial insecurity and the heroic healthcare workers and first responders who are at the forefront of dealing with this pandemic.”
