West Hills Project Jazz Band performed on Sunday, June 1, on Lakeview Drive in West Orange, New Jersey, to allow neighbors and friends to welcome home beloved resident Mickey Weiss from Florida. Weiss is a founding member of Congregation AABJ&D in West Orange.

Special guests were the lead singer’s parents, Rabbi Alvin and Marylin Marcus, who have led the synagogue for over 50 years. Rabbi Marcus is now Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation AABJ&D.

More than 50 residents enjoyed this social-distancing concert, which spread out over multiple lawns.
